The CBIA Education Foundation is a 501 (C) (3) affiliate of the Connecticut Business & Industry Association
(CBIA). Our mission is to help prepare a skilled workforce for Connecticut employers through the
development of public-private sector partnerships in education and job training. We are not an endowed foundation and do not make grants to individuals or organizations. Rather, we seek grant opportunities and funds to develop programs that further CBIA’s public policy positions at the state and federal levels, and develop best practices for our members. As grant funding permits, we also partner with the public sector employment and training system and public schools on partnerships to expose the current workforce, students and educators to the world of work.
